Latest update on my friend Wanda and her family. She is home and was able to see her son get married last Saturday. It will be a long road to recovery for her but she is making progress and is so appreciative for all the prayers offered up for her. She has updated me on a family matter that needs urgent prayer. Her niece Krystal is very sick. To make a long story short she had melanoma that has gone internal and is now in her lungs and brain. She is presently undergoing radiation therapy and possibly chemo but I'm not too sure about that. She had been in treatment for a few years for the melanoma but unfortunately the treatments did not work. The family is hoping and praying for a miracle to save her life. We know that God can do anything and are praying hard for her. Please join us in praying for this young woman and her family. She is terrified that she will leave her little boy and husband without a mother and wife.

My 18 year old nephew is in Quebec at CAF Boot Camp and was admitted to the hospital yesterday. His parents and all other relatives aside from us Meiers are all the way back in BC. He is sick, is in pain, alone and afraid. If you could please pray for him that would be absolutely appreciated.

Wonderful update on my friend Wanda. Last week she came out of ICU and placed in the cardiac unit of the University Hospital in London Ontario. She has had an angiogram and had a stent put in her main artery and is doing much better. Last night I had a video call with her and it was sooooooo good to see her and hear her voice after a month in the hospital. And the miracle is SHE IS BEING RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL AND IS COMING HOME TOMORROW. This is such wonderful news as she was hoping to get home to see her son get married this coming Saturday. Thank you all sooo much for your prayers. Please keep her in prayer for her continued recovery as she has a long road ahead of her.

I have a very serious prayer request for the church. My friends that attends the Christmas Eve service at LifeCentre every year have been hit with many hardships in the last 8 months. I really need the prayer team to pray for them.
- Her parents lost their home to a fire and have been living in a hotel since December.
- Her father’s dementia is progressing rapidly
- Her 17 year old son was diagnosed with Bipolar in the spring
- In June her 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and is going through 29 weeks of chemo, radiation and a surgery to remove the bone. They are now at week 6 of treatment, and
- 2 days after the cancer diagnosis her husband had a motorcycle accident and punctured his lungs.
I’m at a loss. The only thing I can do is pray and ask the church to pray.

Latest update on my friend Wanda. THE TUBE IS OUT! YAY!!! What an answer to prayer that she can finally breath on her own after 17 days of being intubated. She is making baby steps of progress but is still extremely sore probably due to cracked ribs from the CPR. She is to be transferred out of ICU and into the cardiac until if it hasn't happened already. Please continue to pray for healing and for her strength to come back. The family is considering this a true miracle as the doctors were not sure if she would survive. And what is more of a miracle is that after being without oxygen for 17 minutes while they were trying to restart her heart the MRI of her brain showed NO BRAIN DAMAGE. All I can say is PRAISE GOD!
