In our elementary environments, our goal is to help kids learn about Jesus and build relationships with others through object lessons, engaging Bible stories, and LifeGroups.

Before coming to church, this simple self-assessment tool is helpful for parents to make the best decision possible for their child: https://www.ottawapublichealth.ca/en/public-health-topics/covid-19-and-schools.aspx
Vaccinations & Negative Tests
Please know, if any Lifecentre Pastors/Volunteers are showing COVID symptoms, or had a high risk exposure to COVID, they will not serve until receiving a negative COVID test result. This might adversely affect ministry on any given Sunday. If this occurs, we do apologize in advance. Ensuring your child is safe, to the utmost of our ability, remains our heart and aim at Lifecentre.
If your child is not vaccinated (under twelve) and is exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID-19 and is considered a high-risk contact, they will be required to isolate for ten days as directed by Ottawa Public Health. Lifecentre will work with Ottawa Public Health and follow their guidance. If your child is fully vaccinated (twelve and up) and is exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID-19, they do not need to self-isolate as long as they do not have symptoms. To date, Provinces where vaccine passports are in use, Houses of Worship are not included in this guidance/mandate. Lifecentre requires all volunteers ministering to children under 18 to be double vaccinated or show a negative COVID test prior to serving. We will continue to review the Province’s guidance with our Staff and Pastor’s Council.
