LifeGroups

As followers of Jesus, we want to live as Jesus lived, by investing in relationships.

We believe God created us to live in relationships with others. Living in a community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why LifeGroups exist – to make these life-changing relationships accessible to you.

Common Questions

What happens in a LifeGroup meeting?

You’ve probably seen LifeGroup meetings and not even realized it. A small group looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a LifeGroup is a small gathering of people, and it is less about what and more about how you do life together. By participating in LifeGroups, you can expect to connect with others through everyday moments, engaging in life-giving conversation and request prayer.

How often do LifeGroups meet?

LifeGroups generally meet during three seasons of the year – fall, winter, and spring, taking a small break during the summer. Most groups meet once a week or twice a month. LifeGroups produce meaning and community into the flow of your life, so even if you can’t attend every meeting, there is still great value in joining a group.

Where do LifeGroups meet?

Groups happen daily throughout the week and meet in homes, restaurants, lunchrooms, and dorms all across the city.

How long does a typical LifeGroup stay together?

Most groups meet for a ministry year (Fall-Spring). This way, new people can join groups easily and regularly. As relationships form, some groups choose to stay together for consecutive ministry years, but new members are always welcome.

Why should I join LifeGroups?

We believe in the power of LifeGroups. They impact your life, the lives of those around you, and even our community as a whole. We think you can only go so far on your own – God designed us to be connected so that we can continue to grow in every facet of our lives.

What type of groups are there?

Our groups are as varied as we are. But we have groups for Couples, Men, Women, Adults, and Students covering a range of topics from Marriage and Parenting to Bible/Book Studies to Sunday Series Discussions.

When can I join a group?

The best time to join a group is leading up to a new ministry year; however, our LifeGroup Finder stays open, allowing you to search out and join a group anytime.

Is childcare provided?

Childcare varies from group to group. When you search our directory for a group, the group profile will indicate if childcare is available.

How do I lead a LifeGroup of my own?

The first step is to complete LifeTrack. The second step is to connect with your Campus Pastor.
