Our Annual Report is an opportunity to reflect on our previous year at Lifecentre. In the past year, we have walked through seasons that have challenged us, seasons that have given us reason to celebrate, and seasons that caused us to make ministry adjustments. As you look through our visual report, there is so much we are grateful for at Lifecentre. Each statistic tells a story of how God is moving personally and powerfully in our midst. For instance, we saw an 86% increase in LifeGroup engagement compared to our previous year. We witnessed almost twice the amount of people take a step and get baptized in water. We also walked through a partnership with At Thy Word Ministries in Cornwall, preparing us to launch a new Lifecentre location. Although there was much to celebrate, we did also experience a difficult season of transition in Kanata, as well as a difficult season leading through the adjustment in our Sunday ministry at our Blackburn location.
In the past twelve months, I have been reminded of a beautiful reality – Bread which isn’t broken, can’t be shared. As it is in the serving of communion, so it is with Jesus, our lives, and His Church.
“In the hands of Jesus, our lives become broken, blessed, and shared in a new way. When we place the brokenness of our failure, frailty, and challenges in the hands of Jesus, we become open to the grace of God. Life with Jesus is deeply personal, but it isn’t private. In Jesus, our lives become blessed and broken as He gives us out for the hope and healing of others.” – Unknown Author
