Parent Resources

We hope to be a good influence in the life of your students. However, we know that we aren’t the only influence. In fact, students are only here at church for up to 0.6% of their year. That means that 99.4% of that time they are with someone else. Fortunately, a lot of that time is spent with you, their parents, which means you have a greater influence on your students than we do. But we want to help!

We believe that two combined influences can have a much greater impact than just separate influences. In other words, we are better together. When we are on the same page, pulling in the same direction and saying the same things, imagine what we can do together for your students.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule a time to connect with one of our Student Ministry Leaders, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love the chance to chat over a cup of coffee.

Common Questions

Q: What time do things start on Friday nights?

Doors open by 7:00pm, and service starts at 7:30pm. All activities are done around 9:30pm and we ask parents to pick up their students by 10:00pm.

Q: As a parent, do I just drop them off at the front door?

Yes, you can just drop them off and we will take good care of them. If it is their first time here, we will connect them with one of our registration volunteers who can walk them through the process.

Q: Can I come in and check it out? I’d love to see what my kids are experiencing Fridays.

Parents are always welcome. However, we would ask that you give us a heads up that you’re coming so that we can be prepared for your arrival. You can email us anytime to set it up.

For the safety of your students, we don’t just let anybody and everybody who wants to come hang out, so there will be a few safety protocols that we will ask you to follow.

That being said, if you like what you see and want to be a part, we would love to have you join our team and serve with us! We are always looking for adults who care about students and can be a positive influence in their lives. To find out more about joining the team, go here.
