Our Focus

As individuals and together, a root problem we are, by the power of God’s Spirit, attempting to solve is shallow discipleship. Shallow is defined as having enough Jesus for heaven but not enough to see heaven on earth.

Holy Spirit, come.

For some to start and others to grow deeper, we’ve created a single discipleship pathway for kids, students, young adults & adults called Becoming Heartstrong.

One path, different levels of engagement united around a singular vision where you and I become more like Jesus, which we believe is how broken things become more whole.

Letter from our Lead Pastors

Hello!

What a year of rebuilding we have had at Lifecentre.

Before we began our most recent Becoming Heartstrong climb, we took all of last year to listen, love, and then apply fresh leadership to our collective vision. As individuals and together, a root problem we are, by the power of God’s Spirit, attempting to solve is shallow discipleship. Shallow is defined as having enough Jesus for heaven but not enough to see heaven on earth.

For some to start and others to grow deeper, we’ve created a single discipleship pathway for kids, students, young adults & adults called Becoming Heartstrong: one path, different levels of engagement united around a singular vision where you and I become more like Jesus, which we believe is how broken things become more whole.

Our focus remains on growing people who live Jesus-sized difference-making lives.

This may look differently depending on our season of life and seasoning in following Jesus - but make no mistake, we are essential as the body of Christ.

Lori and I are so proud of each staff, Council, leader, and congregant in Cornwall, Kanata, Orleans, Online, and Blackburn. We know it is often said we couldn’t do this without you - but literally, we couldn’t. God gets all the glory. May each of you receive our abiding affection and heartfelt gratitude. When entirely meant, here are two mighty words - thank you.

Let’s continue becoming heartstrong together. We can’t wait to look back and dream forward to all God desires to do at Lifecentre in the year ahead. Church, let’s be all in on being lifelong disciples who make a Jesus-sized difference.

Growing Together,

Jason & Lori Boucher

Lifecentre Care

As followers of Jesus, we believe loving our neighbour is central to seeing on earth as it is in heaven. As a result, we are called to engage faithfully and wholeheartedly within specific areas of brokenness and injustice locally and globally. We demonstrate God’s love in tangible ways with His presence and provision.

Our mission is to serve the community with dignity, honour and respect through benevolence, providing hope, love and support to make a difference in each person's life.

Heart Conference

720 (Ottawa & Vancouver)

Heart Conference is an invitation to COME ALIVE to all that is possible. Jesus desires to satisfy your thirsty heart, feed your hungry spirit, and give rest to your weary soul. Do you hear the call? Come to Jesus, the Living Water, the Bread of Life, your rest and peace. Come, and let Jesus breathe new life into your dry bones.
