Premarital Counseling
A Pre-marital six week course is offered bi-yearly and must be taken by all those being married at Lifecentre. Exceptions to this requirement may be granted upon approval of Lead Pastor.
General Wedding Guidelines
Either the bride or groom needs to have been a partner of Lifecentre for al least three months prior to the wedding date.
Weddings cannot be scheduled during holiday seasons or when there is a church calendar conflict. The Lifecentre are available for the wedding ceremony only. The reception will need to be elsewhere.
Reservations for the date of your choice must be done at least 60 days prior to your wedding day. The wedding must be performed by a Lifecentre Pastor or one approved by the Senior Pastor. The Lifecentre wedding coordinator will direct your wedding rehearsal and will facilitate the ceremony on your wedding day. The Lifecentre officiating Pastor will be available for an appointment 1 month prior to the wedding date and for the rehearsal.
A one-hour rehearsal will be scheduled some time the week preceding the wedding. It must begin and end on time and should include all members of the wedding party. The officiating Pastor will conduct the rehearsal. Please remember to give your marriage license to the Front Office one week prior to the wedding date.
The Lifecentre Pastors use an approved script for the wedding ceremony. A variety of ceremonies will be given to the couple to choose from. No changes to the vows will be permitted after the selection has been given to the office. It is the final decision of the Pastor to allow extra scripture readings, poems and etcetera to the wedding ceremony.
Wedding Fee: $400.00. This fee would cover the following:
- Sound & Lighting*
- Vocalist (if necessary)
- Wedding Coordinator
- Pastor’s Honorarium
