God Is… | Unity

God loves unity because He is unity. God’s heart, since the fall of man, has been that of restoration, redemption and unity. Can you imagine the pain in God’s heart as His Son hung on the cross to take our place? He allowed this to restore mankind back to Himself. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for unity. I often ask myself, “What is it that I am willing to sacrifice in order to see unity fully operating in my life?”

God’s desire is that we experience the fullness of unity with Him and in the relationships we have. Unity is something we should strive for because God loves when unity is evident. Psalm 133:1 tells us that God loves it when His people live together in unity.

Thank Him today for providing a way that you can be reconciled with Him and reach out to that person who you may not be in complete unity with…….watch His favour as you do.
