God Is… | Unity

God loves unity because it is a reflection of who He is. The trinity is a wonderful example of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in complete cooperation. It is a relational model that helps us see the unique call to diversity. His love for unity is echoed in the words of Psalm 133 with the words: “how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity”.

Being a Christ-follower carries with it a tremendous responsibility. No longer can we chose to discard relationships because of a difference of opinion. It is, and will continue to be, the core prayer for Joyce and I. We want to do whatever it takes to see unity brought to the body of Christ through creating a culture of honour wherever we go. Do we always succeed…no. But…it is the goal that we press towards on a daily basis. What about you? Is bringing glory to God’s Kingdom a priority to you? If it is…welcome to the race of a lifetime.
